Acudetox

Service Description

Acudetox, or 5NP (5 needle protocol) involves the placement of sterile, single-use acupuncture needles in 5 specific points in both ears. These points are the sympathetic, shen men, kidney, liver, and lungs. These points can trigger activation of the parasympathetic nervous system, switching you into rest/digest and can also affect the emotions...primarily addressing issues of fear, anger, and grief/sadness. This is yet another way we can leverage th epower of the body and bottom-up interventions to help process stuck emotions. The needles can stay in between 20-45 minutes. This can be added to any client session, at no additional cost, provided there is enough time. Acudetox is great for decreasing stress and increasing feeling of wellness. If you are not a client, no worries, you can book this as a stand alone treatment (1:1 or with a small group of your family and friends), as I am an Acudetox Specialist (ADS) certified with the Texas Medical Board.
