Service Description
We will use Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) to cultivate interoception. When trauma happens, our awareness leaves our body. So part of the healing path is learning how to find safety in our body once again...learning to find safety in stillness...learning to connect with inner resource. You will simply lie down on a yoga mat, blanket, bolsters, eye pillows and anything else you need to find comfort in your "nidra nest", and then simply listen to my words as I take you through a guided meditation of breath and body sensing. I will provide the yoga mat, blanket, & eye pillows. You are always welcome to bring layers of clothes, your own blanket, a journal, water bottle, sacred objects like crystals, and any other items of comfort. We will have some time at the end to share insights from the experience and to process accordingly.
